Start
selling your unused Lego parts to Spareblocks.com
Heres how...
1. Search through the parts shown on Spareblocks.com (a link appears at the bottom of this page and also on the side
bar). Spareblocks.com lists thousands of Lego parts. Match your unwanted parts to those shown.
2. Where the stock is shown as zero, that means Spareblocks.com
wants to buy more of those parts. If you have a number of parts for the one shown out of stock, Spareblocks will buy this
part/parts from you, so write down the part number and the number of parts you have together with the item price.
3. Once you have completed working
out which parts to sell, calculate how much your sale will be. If you have only one or two of the item part shown as zero
stock, we will pay 40% of the item price shown. Where you have 3 or more of the part, we will pay 50% for each of your items.
Your calculation sheet should look something like the example below.
4. Now all you have to do is pack the parts and post them to Spareblocks.com together
with a copy of your schedule and your payment will be posted or made through PayPal within 48 hours of us receiving the package.
Important:-
If your parts are old or used, they will not be perfect, but It is essential that the parts you send are in good
clean condition (no yellowing, bite marks, or other significant damage or dirt, as we cannot pay for items that are unfit
for resale). It is also important that you send the items by registered post and keep the receipt safe
in case the post office has a problem.
Before you start to sort and schedule your Lego parts sale you must email us letting us know approximately how
much your parts sale will be. This way, we know to expect your parts and we can make sure we have the funds ready to pay you
(generally, sales of up to a £200 in value can be accommodated with little notice). Your parts sale must be at least
£25 in value to make it worthwhile, but ideally £40 or more. To ensure you are paid promptly and correctly you
should write your preferred payment method on the back of your sale schedule. We can send you a cheque, or we can pay directly
to your PayPal account, so include your postal address or your PayPal registered email address.
Selling
your remaining Lego parts
Any remaining parts you need to sell can be sold on auction sites like ebay,
and once you have sold the remaining parts as a job-lot mix, you will find that together with the money gained from selling
the selected parts to Spareblocks.com, you have made an extremely good sale price for your unwanted Lego, and far
more than could ever be achieved selling as a single Lego collection!
Will we buy your parts if the stock
shown is not zero?
We may buy additional items from you where stock is low (say just 1, 2, 3 or 4 items
in stock), but some items can take months and years to sell, so it very much depends on which parts they are. If you have
a list of parts you would like to sell us where our stock is not zero but low, create a schedule and email us a copy and we
will go through it and let you know which parts we are happy to buy, and what price we will pay you. If you are going to sell
us some parts that are zero stock anyway, this could be a good way to look at increasing your overall sale price!
